That time I busted my a$$ during a family session | Family Portraits

So I busted my a$$ at this family portraits session.

No really I did. *Face Palm*

I’m a shorty so I use a plastic fold-up step stool to stand on when I’m photographing family sessions.

Well, during this session, I was standing on the step stool and it gave way underneath me. My foot went straight through it. I tried to catch my balance but ended up on my butt instead. Luckily my camera didn’t fall, I still held on to it. lol! I bought the cheap thing on Amazon, I’m talking $20. bucks cheap!

Lisa and Josh were so sweet and cool about it. They helped me up, brushed me off (literally, I had dirt and leaves all over my back, arms, and butt), and made sure I was ok. Of course, their boys thought it was hilarious and I did too! All you can do is laugh at that situation. Thank GOD my camera was ok!

Word of advice, don’t buy a cheap step stool. This is not where you should be stingy with your money or you’ll end up on your a$$ too!

The moral of the story is some times you’ll have regrets in this life. I totally regret NOT spending more money on a good-quality step stool.

Family portraits are one of those things, that if you DONT have family portraits taken, especially while your kiddos are little, you might regret it, but you will NEVER regret investing the time and money into having family portraits. I promise! Especially as time goes on, family portraits become more valuable, and priceless.
