Over the years, I’ve photographed countless families in all stages of life. One of my favorites was a newborn session I did nearly eight years ago.
Looking back, I’m reminded how beautifully personal those moments were — the soft light coming through the nursery window, the family snuggled on the bed, the feeling of love and calm that filled the space.
While I no longer photograph traditional newborn sessions, I still adore in home family sessions. Why, because they capture something that can’t be recreated anywhere else — real life.
The little moments that make your family yours. Your kids dancing in the living room. Baking pancakes in your favorite kitchen. Snuggling on the bed with your dog at your feet.
The best part?
Everyone feels more comfortable at home. There’s no rushing out the door or worrying if the kids will cooperate.

During an in home family session, I focus on connection over perfection. I’ll gently guide you through natural prompts that help you interact, laugh, and simply be yourselves.
