As a Wrightsville Beach Photographer
my heart is so happy when my clients come up with new fun locations to take their family portraits. Brittany and Michael has a family friend that own a property on the intercostal waterway. They love taking their kiddos out on the boat or across the intercostal water way to Wrightsville Beach on the weekends so they thought it was the perfect way to spend their family session as well. <3 They were right! The location, weather and light could not have been more perfect.
The kiddos were so excited to jump on the boat over to a private island in between Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. We parked the boat and let Jaxon run around and get his wiggles out. He had the biggest smile on his face and it made for beautiful family portraits. Mom and dad watched as he ran around, ran up to them to give high fives, hug and kiss them.
We decided to go slightly more formal for the images on the other side of the intercostal waterway and laid a blanket out to capture the kids sitting and mom and dad playing with their sweet babies.
Mommy Photography Program
Brittany was a part of my Mommy Photography Program this year. The Mommy Program is a program I designed specifically for hard working moms that never do anything for them selves. The MPP focuses and encourages busy mamas to be in their family portraits with their kiddos.
One of the session we planned for Brittany’s MPP was a cake smash session for her twins. They turned 1 while she was in the program and we celebrated with a session designed just for them. Check out the twins cake smash images here.
