As a Wilmington NC Senior Photographer, I photograph quite a few graduation and senior portraits. I had a blast with Maria! I photographed Maria one very windy evening last month. As soon as Maria and I sat down to chat about her senior session, she knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted photos downtown, on UNCW campus and in Wrightsville Beach.
On the day of her session we met in downtown Wilmington and walked the cobblestone streets. We chatted as we walked, just about life. I talked about my kids, Maria talked about school. We went to all the major landmarks, the “I believe in Wilmington” mural, down by the water with the Cape Fear Bridge in the background and the iconic Water Street. Next we headed to UNCW campus and walked to all of the major landmarks their as well, The Seahawk sculpture, Chancellors Walk, and the water fountain in-between Morton Hall and Leutze Hall.
To finish off her session we went to Wrightsville Beach and grabbed a few with her in her cap and gown at the beach. Even with the wind wreaking havoc we had a blast and took some gorgeous portraits.
