Abby and Chris’s Family and Maternity Session

Abby is a part of my Mommy Photography Program. And when she joined, I was so excited! Abby and I were only 3 weeks a part in our pregnancy, both with our second child. Its been a fun ride these last couple months with her. She had her baby a week early. And I am still waiting the arrival of mine. But when we sat down to plan her family session, it of course had to be a joint maternity session. <3 Abby and Chris spend most of their time on the water, playing with their sweet boy, fishing and just enjoying the sun and waves, so when we discussed location options for their session Abby knew that the beach would be perfect!

I photographed their session at Fort Fisher in Kure Beach NC. With the beautiful Oak trees and the beach, we were able to grab a variety of photos. We focused mainly on the family but we wanted to capture Abby with her beautiful belly. We photographed some beautiful maternity images of Abby and Chris as well. This session was a breeze! Abby and Chris didn’t worry about getting the perfect image, they focused on the perfect moment with their son, Jake. They wanted to enjoy these last few moments with him as an only child and what better way to document it, is with a beautiful family session.
