Mommy Photography Program
Lauren and her beautiful girls are a part of my Mommy Photography Program. If you follow me on Instagram or my blog, then you know that I am a firm believer in all women feeling beautiful and confident about themselves. Because you see, women rule the world! If we feel inspired, empowered and confident, then we feel we can do anything! Feeling beautiful, especially in a portraits with our children, will help us feel empowered. We should feel that way and we should be teaching our daughters to feel this way about themselves. (Our sons as well, but there is more of a stigma and more pressure with girls.) But if we can teach our kids to uplift and inspire each other, instead of seeing each other in competition, then they will change the world. <3 And isn’t that the kind of future we want for our children?
Bathing Suits on the Beach
One of my events for the Mommy Program is Bathing Suits on the beach. This optional session is for mamas in the program and their kiddos. I am so unbelievable proud of each of the women who were photographed in their bathing suits, including Lauren and her beautiful girls. It is not an easy thing to do but Lauren stood there proud with her girls. She showed her girls, her confidence. When her girls grow up it will teach them to feel the same about their own bodies. It will show them how beautiful their mama is and it will teach them to appreciate their bodies as much as their mother does.
