One of my favorite place in Wilmington NC is Harbour Club Day Spa and Salon. Talk about relaxation city! Its one of my favorite places to let down my hair and get pampered! Harbour Club opened in 2001 by Mary Jo Tolar. From the beginning she wanted an atmosphere of total relaxation, a place her clients could come and feel the stress melt away. A year later, Jessica Corbett joined the Harbour club team. Several years later Jessica became the owner of Harbour Club Day Spa and Salon.
It is the perfect place to get pampered before your photo session. They offer a variety of services in the salon such as cuts, color, updos and more. But dont forget about your makeup. They have several makeup artist on hand to make sure you are picture perfect for your session. Personally, their selection of spa services is my favorite; mani and pedi’s. as well as, massage, facials, hair waxing and tinting.
As soon as you walk in, you can hear a euphony of calming music. A big, white chandelier and a very friendly face greets you at the front desk.
As you sit down in the lobby to wait for your appointment, a plethora of the best and latest makeup and hair product keeps you company.
If you are there for a manicure and pedicure your nail specialist will greet you and take you into the spa. As you walk into the nail room, a big comfy bench, with modern foot tubs greets you on the back wall. As you choose from over 200 nail polish colors you are offered a drink, “Water, tea? There is an overwhelming sensation of relaxation as your manicurist finishes your nails.
If you are there for another spa treatment such as a wax or a massage. You are ushered through another door, where calming music and lights melt away your stress. There is silence every where. With a house full of kids you welcome the silence. After your massage you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. After your wax you feel clean and beautiful.
After you are pampered in the spa, head to the salon for a beauty overhaul. Have your hair cut and/or colored and relax on the back deck, with that cup of tea! Enjoy the sites and sounds of the fountain. With several makeup artists on hand, getting your makeup done for your family portraits is the perfect cherry on the cake! Top the day off, with that extra feeling of beauty!
