I recently photographed Sophie in Topsail Beach NC , only 30 minutes from the beautiful, historic, Wilmington NC. Sophie has a love for a lot of things and photography is one of them! She has photographed a lot of her friends senior portraits. After realizing she wasn’t going to be able to photograph hers, she thought of her childhood vacation spot, Topsail Beach NC. Her family has been vacationing here for years!
With that in mind, my objective was to give her a great selection of portraits on the beach: in front of the water, pier and in the sand dunes. I wanted to give her and her family an assortment of portraits to document this time in her life.
We all have a lot of aspects to ourselves and personalities. So I love to create portraits that are beautiful but show more personality, then anything else. Sophie was a natural in front of the camera and the sunset could not have been more perfect!
