Senior Model Program
These four lovely ladies have been in my Senior Model Program this year. The Senior Model Program is for high school seniors in their senior year. It’s designed to encourage kindness, body positivity and support of other women instead of judgement.
Teenagers have more pressure than ever to be perfect or Instagram ready. Positive body image starts at a young age. Society, media especially social media, convince women that they are not enough. I use photography as a tool to help women gain the confidence to see themselves as beautiful, both on the inside and on the outside. When girls work together and play together, they support one another and cheer each other on. Women supporting women is what this program is all about!
Cap and Gown Session
The last session for the Senior Model Program is the Cap and Gown session. I decided the New Hanover Arboretum would be the perfect location for the Cap and Gown session. Each young lady brought their cap and gown and some were able to bring their honors and cords as well. All four of my seniors were rocking their grades, received honors and got into the college of their choice. And two of my seniors have been friends since elementary school, so I made sure to grab a few images of them together as well. <3
