Marlena’s Mommy and Me Session

I am seriously in love with the images from this sweet little mommy and me session. <3 Marlena and Jameson is a photographer’s dream. We photographed their sweet little mommy and me session in downtown Wilmington. It was the perfect setting for this fun little duo. Jameson has such a sweet, yet spunky personality that the textured alleyways and grungy walls fit her personality perfectly. You can just tell how much Jameson loves her mom. Jameson played with her mom and hugged on her mommy. They absolutely loved spending this time with each other. Unfortunately we did not get an amazing sunset as I had hoped but the overcast sky provided the perfect light for this sweet mommy and me session.

Mommy Photography Program

Marlena and Jameson are a part of my mommy photography program. This totally exclusive program is by invitation only. There are many parts to the mommy program but its mostly about feeling beautiful in the skin you are in and enjoying this time with your kids.

I hear all to often about how women, especially mothers, do not like the way they look in photographs. Unfortunately todays society has such a stigma on women’s beauty. Women just don’t like this or that about themselves. I want to change that. I want women to feel beautiful. And I am so proud of Marlena! After just three months in the mommy photography program she has come to realize that she does love the skin she is in. After a mommy and me session with professional makeup and a family session doing her own make up she realized that she loves herself with NO Makeup! YAY! I love this. And even though Marlena very rarely wears makeup (my spirit sista!!), she knows in her heart that she is beautiful without makeup. And THAT is what my mommy photography program is all about. <3
