Lauren’s Mommy and Me Session at the Arboretum
Lauren’s Mommy and Me Session this year was at the New Hanover County Arboretum in Wilmington NC. The weather could not be any more perfect. It was just the right temperature. The sky was blue and their was the perfect amount of clouds in the sky. We walked along the paths at the Arboretum stopping at various locations. Lauren enjoyed spending this time with her kids. It wasn’t just about the photos, it was about being in the moment. They hugged on each other and laughed with each other. It was a photographers dream. Reagan and Paige absolutely adore their mother. I especially love the one where they are looking at their mother. You can see how much they adore her. <3
Mommy Photography Program
I am really excited to finally share Lauren’s mommy and me session! Lauren is in my Mommy Photography Program and this is the second year for Lauren. And I could not be more thrilled to have her in the program again! One of the first events in the program is a mommy and me session. We planned for a session in the end of April. The day was perfect! They were perfect! Just by watching those sweet girls, you know how much they love Lauren. They look at her with such love.
This is what the mommy program is all about. Looking at yourself the way your children do. I hear it all too often; I don’t like the way I look in photos, I’m not photogenic. But we should look at ourselves with love and admire our beauty because all women are beautiful. This is one of the things in this world that I think is so important, especially those of us with daughters. We know our girls are beautiful and we NEVER want them to feel differently. So if we can show our daughters to love themselves through our own thinking, then we can change the world. Because our kids happiness means more to us then anything in this world.

Lauren, you have no idea how excited I am to have you in the mommy program again this year. I absolutely LOVE photographing your family and am so excited to do so again this year. Your girls are amazing, smart and beautiful! I love that I get to see them grow through the years and I can not wait to see what this year brings! <3
