Jessica’s Mommy and Me Session at the Arboretum
Jessica’s mommy and me session took place at the New Hanover County Arboretum. It is one of the most gorgeous places in Wilmington. We photographed her and her beautiful kids one evening in May. The weather was a bit hot but was starting to cool down since it was before sunset. We were able to grab some images with that perfect, soft glow from the sun. Their coordinating clothing choices were perfect for all the different flower options at the Arboretum. Jessica and her family have been with me for over a year now. They are so comfortable in front of the camera. They can laugh together, hug each other and have fun with each other with so much ease while I snap away. It makes my “job” incredibly easy.
Mommy Photography Program
Jessica is a part of my mommy photography program. This is an exclusive program by invitation only. It is designed for moms. Mothers NEVER take time for themselves. They are constantly on the go, always worried about their kids. There is also a huge societal misconception about the way women should look. So women are constantly critiquing their body. As mothers, our bodies go through huge transformations and then we criticize our bodies after giving birth to our beautiful babies. Of course our bodies will never be the same again. We brought life into this world and we need to stop and realize how miraculous that is. That’s where I come in. This program is designed to help women feel confident and to show them how beautiful they are.
