Jessica Mommy and Me Session at home
This was Jessica’s first year in the Mommy Program, but not my first time photographing her and her daughter and stepdaughter, Sterling and Gabby. Jessica couldn’t make her original mommy and me session, so we did it at field near her home. They laid out on a picnic blanket for the first few images and then we went down by the water. They live on the intercostal waterway. As moms, we know that every time a camera comes out, the kids start to fuss. I know I can never get my daughter Amelia to settle down for a photo. LOL! Sterling was starting to fuss, but her sister held her, and we got a cute smile out of them both.
Mommy Photography Program
We know as moms that it is rare to find a photo of us and our children together. So that is exactly what the Mommy and Me Program focuses on. I hear women complaining too much about not wanting to be photographed with their kids because they knit-pick the flaws about their body. But, we as women have to start feeling empowered with the bodies we have, and not miss out on precious moments because of those bodies.
