Lauren and Ian’s Family Session at Smith Creek Park

I’m still playing catch-up from when I was on maternity leave. But I just have to post this sweet little family session. <3 Lauren is a part of my mommy program and I could not be more thrilled that she joined this year. Its been amazing getting to know her and her beautiful girls.

When we sat down to plan her family session, she knew exactly what she wanted. “I want images that show what we would do on a typical Saturday. We take the girls to the park all the time.” I immediately fell in love with the idea! I photographed her beautiful family over the summer. These cooler days are making me think back to this day. I’m pretty sure it was the hottest day of the year. They all did an amazing job dealing with the heat, though. We photographed their session at Smith Creek Park. Lauren and Ian didn’t think of the heat, they just enjoyed their kids. They laughed and tickled them. They pushed them on the swings and watched them slide down the slide. Despite the weather it was a perfect day! And we got some really great family photos of them doing what they normally do… playing together.
