Cousin Session in Wilmington NC

I am so excited to share this sweet little session. When Ashley first contacted me she mentioned that she wanted to gift portraits of her niece to her sister and then of course, she wanted images of her own sweet girls. Ashley has portraits of her girls taken every year but when she told me the last time her sister had images taken of her niece was her newborn session it broke my heart. When I heard her idea, I swooned! What a wonderful gift to give to her sister.

This sweet little cousin session took place at the New Hanover County Arboretum in Wilmington NC. Ashley picked the perfect Lula Roe outfits for the girls to compliment the hot summer morning that it was and the Arboretum’s beautiful display of plants and flowers. The girls were absolutely wonderful to work with. They listened perfectly to my directions despite the heat and humidity that morning. We took portraits of the cousins together and then each of them separately. The girls had a great time wandering around the Arboretum.
