A Family Session in the woods
As a family photographer, every session brings forth its own uniqueness, which is why I love being a family photographer. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing the Mahoney family’s sweet moments amidst the serene backdrop of the woods. What made this session truly remarkable was not just the setting, but also the thoughtful selection of wardrobe that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings.
One of the most common questions I receive from clients is, “What should we wear?”
It’s something every family needs to consider, and it can be daunting. The right choice of clothing not only helps mom feel comfortable and confident, but helps the over all feel of the photographs and can enhance the beauty of the image . For this particular session, the family opted for a color palette inspired by the enchanting woods they would be surrounded by: white, burnt orange, cream, and forest green.
The combination of these hues created worked so well with the earthy tones of the forest. What truly stood out was how the chosen colors not only complemented each other but also with the natural elements around them. Against the backdrop of towering trees and dappled sunlight filtering through the foliage, the family looked like they belonged in the forest landscape.
Moreover, the choice of attire reflected the family’s personality and style, adding a personal touch to the photos. Each member exuded confidence and comfort, which translated beautifully into the images captured.
