Mommy and Me | Wilmington NC Family Photography

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to feature a momma on the blog. This is the beautiful Tatham and Layne. They were the cutest little mommy and me duo! And they were a dream to work with. They followed direction well and just had fun with each other. Little Layne was a champ, it was a bit cold that day and she sucked it up!I am so glad I got some beautiful images for this mother and daughter. I know they will love these images even 50 years from now!

(This is in no way directed toward Tatham.) But I just wanted to mention that women are so critical of themselves. They often don’t want to have their photo taken with their family. They want to lose 10 pounds, they don’t like how big their nose is, they don’t like the way their arms look… believe me, I get it… I’m a woman. But believe me when I say, who cares… no one notices those things but you! And you should be proud of your body! As a photographer, I am constantly behind the camera and have very few photos of myself and my daughter. You know what… I regret it, and you will too! I’ve made it a goal this year, to take more photos with my kiddo.  So, hire a hair and make up artist, buy a new outfit and get your photos taken with your husband and kids because 40 years from now, you will want those photos.
